In Memory of Jean Lokensgard

We give thanks for the life of our longtime member Jean Lokensgard, who died on Friday night, June 10, 2011. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jean's husband Alan and their children, Mark Lokensgard and Kari Bosco.     I have many fond memories of Jean and her family from college and the years after while I still lived in New England. What a delightful person Jean was. We enjoyed skiing together and being young parents, watching our babies/toddlers grow and play. My condolences go to her family on this very sad loss.

    Once visiting Uni Lu after many years, Jean said, "if you ever need a place to stay, stay with us.". When I did, they were gracious hosts, though the Alzheimers was already.working on her. Thank you, Jean and Alan, for your gracious hospitality, and prayers to all of you in this season of your loss.

    My sincere condolences to the Lokensgard family,
    on the passing of Jean. I have been a friend of Al's for many years, and have witnessed the enormous care he gave her. God bless you all.
